We’ve been known to design an entire room around one single pillow. That’s how powerful these little pillows can be. They can add an unexpected pop of color, tie a a room together, and easily be changed out for the season, occasion, or (let’s face it) mood! 🙂 Since our focus at Agricola Resdeign is to redesign using what you already own, we often use pillows to bring posh new life to spaces! Here are some tips to keep in mind when adding pillows to your space:

• Designing a room can feel overwhelming. I always suggest thinking of something to inspire your whole space. An inspiration pillow can transform an entire rooms décor and build your whole rooms color palette.
• When shopping for your inspiration pillow be looking at the different textures, patterns and styles you like
• Don’t be afraid to mix patterns with different pillows in the same area just make sure they have at least one color in common
• Decorative pillows are a fun way to add seasonal change to your space, in spring add a splash of bold color or florals, in winter switch to a faux fur or sweater fabric
