It’s been almost 10 years since Winnie the Pooh was named the world’s Ambassador of Friendship. Can you believe it?!

National Friendship Day is August 7th and to celebrate, the team at A Village Gift Shop wants to encourage you to spend the day with your best pals. One way to hang out on this special day is to get everyone together and host an accessory exchange party!

Here’s how it works:

1. Invite friends and neighbors to participate, and encourage them to bring a few items they don’t plan on using anymore.

2. When everyone arrives you’ll have so much fun talking and laughing, and even “fighting” over who gets what accessory. There’s nothing more fun than shopping in someone else’s closet! Remember doing that with your best friend when you were in high school?!
