If you’re anything like us, when summer arrives, you’re energized and ready to change up your home a little. While swapping out your decor and accessories is always a good idea, you can go a little further this season by perking up your home with new paint on the walls.

To help you get a jump start on brightening up your home this summer, and give you a few color ideas, the team here at Agricola Redesign shares some of our favorite colors from Sherwin Williams!

1. Glorious Grays

This room uses SW7018 Dovetail on the walls and SW7004 Snowbound on the woodwork. They’re two colors that really complement each other well. Plus, you can easily pull out more of the gray in the paint when you choose the right decor and accessories!

2. Give the Ceiling a WOW! Factor

Give your ceiling the perfect contrasted look by using SW6039 Poised Taupe on the ceiling and SW7004 Toque White on woodwork. Taupe is a dynamic way to go a little darker without putting too much brown on the ceiling and the white will be an eye-catching pop next to it!

3. Colorful Niche

For this client, we created a colorful niche using SW6029 White Truffle on the walls and SW7008 Alabaster on the woodwork. The two colors created a cozy corner that worked so well together!

4. Kitchen Makeover

Dark walls are a huge trend this year and this kitchen hits the nail on the head by using SW6017 Intuitive on the walls and SW7000 Ibis White on the cabinets!
