Book Review: Walking Cincinnati

28 Apr 2017, by Agricola Redesign Staff in Make Me Want To Shop Monday

Cincinnati is a beautiful city and obviously our favorite! The Queen City is full of interesting neighborhoods and people. With a foodie culture, an art scene, and a vibrant downtown to perfectly complement its neighborhoods, there is something for everyone in Cincinnati.

I recently stumbled upon the book Walking Cincinnati and fell in love with it! The concept behind the book is to pick an area, with a total of 32 to choose from, and then start exploring that part of the city!

It’s the perfect way to get out of the house and visit a neighborhood that’s always been on your radar but you just haven’t had a chance to explore yet.

There’s event a tour to explore the Glendale neighborhood, home to Agricola Redesign and A Village Gift Shop, that takes you on a 2.2 mile guided walk.

This book, and the accompanying tours, is perfect for learning history behind Cincinnati and its neighborhoods while seeing fabulous and historic homes in the city and event finding new shops (like ours!) and dining spots along the way.

It’s the perfect way to really immerse yourself in the city and learn more about all that it has to offer. It also encourages you to step outside your typical exploration routine and see the “secret” spots you always wanted to tour.

Of course, after we discovered this amazing book, we just had to bring it to A Village Gift Shop for our customers to purchase as well! Stop by and pick up your copy today!
