Preparing for a certified redesign class

Summer has come to an end and that means the kids are going back to school. But why not make this year about you going back to school, too?

Have you been telling yourself that you want to go back to work now that the kids are more independent? Or have you been stuck at an uninspiring job for long enough that you want to go out and do something you love? Then we have good news for you!

Agricola Redesign offers TONS of decorating classes that help students (meaning you!) prepare for a career in interior redesign and home staging.

If you’re thinking about heading back to the classroom, check out these tips from our team at Agricola Redesign for making this the best school year yet!

1. Self-assess: You should ask yourself why you want to go back to school? Is it to get a different (or better) job? To learn more about a subject you’re interested in? Once you can assess why you want to go back it will help you figure out the path you want to follow.

2. Find your passion: They always say, “You’ll never work a day in your life if you’re doing something you love.” And they aren’t lying. It may have taken you a while to find a job that isn’t “work,” but once you get there you’ll never want to look back. Make sure you find what it is you feel the most passionate about and pursue it. After all, you only live once and you want to make the most out of it.

Pomegranate Moon dresses and vests (which we carry at A Village Gift Shop!) are comfortable and affordable.

3. Find an internship: If you’ve got a career in mind that really interests you, search for an internship or other volunteer opportunities that will let you dive into that topic before you make a choice in going back to school. If you don’t like it, you can find something else. And if you do like it, you’ll be making a difference in a field that you’re passionate about while building your resume.

Agricola Redesign’s tag line has always been “Give yourself the Gift of Change” I believe we give our clients the gift of change in their home and everyone should give themselves the gift of change to try something new. Why wait any longer to do what you have always dreamed of doing.
